On July 6, 2022, we visited the Pohang Briquette Bank located in Gonghae-eup and conducted a donation ceremony to support the necessities of vulnerable groups.

 

Pohang Bribery Bank and the project to support the necessities of the hot weather will be delivered to 122 elderly people living alone in areas vulnerable to summer heat diseases, such as replacing electric fans, supporting bottled water, and preparing for hot weather.

 

This project is aimed at elderly people who use only broken electric fans due to expensive electricity bills even if they have air conditioners, and elderly people who use dangerous electric fans while the safety net is off.

It was carried out with the aim of lowering the risk of accidents and preventing the occurrence of thermal diseases by replacing old fans in the homes of senior citizens living alone in poor conditions.

 

We hope that seniors living alone in the increasingly hot weather will be able to spend a cool and safe summer, everyone will have a long, hot summer, and an eco-professional heart that supports marginalized and vulnerable neighbors to survive the summer.
